HGV Technician – Inverness

Potential earnings of £45,000 – £70,000. Overtime opportunities at time & a half and double time.
Shifts
:
Day
Shift: 7.00 – 15.30 Mon‑Thu and 7.00 – 14.30 Fri.
Back Shift: 15.00 – 23.30 Mon‑Thu and 14.00 – 21.30 Fri.
- Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly
- Assist in the fault diagnosis process
- Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets
- Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV licence)
- Assist with roadside breakdowns
- Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately
- Ensure all vehicle defects are reported
- Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well maintained
- Help us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices
- Up to 33 days holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays & increasing with length of service)

Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and have previous experience working on HGV’s, or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry?
