Position Summary:

Working at a live Rail Depots we require Electrical Modifications Technicians who will be engaged for the implementation of a sanding box modification on the Class
Duties could include the following:

* Carrying out modifications including wiring strip outs and underframes

* Routing wiring from underframe to control boxes and panels

* Initial test on works completed and rectification of any faults found

* Carrying out inspections and checks to ensure work completed to correct standard.

* Carrying out work recording via both paperwork and computer

* Using manufacturer supplied computer programs to interrogate and program parts and systems.

* Gather evidence of faults where required to aid in creating reports to ensure warranty covered parts are replaced

Personal Profile

* Minimum requirements NVQ Level 3 or equivalent award in an Electrical discipline or similar.

* Experience of electrical works on Vehicles such as Trains, Aircraft, Marine Vessels, plant, agricultural machinery, Cars, Trucks or Busses
