About the Role

We are looking for a Night Time Support Worker to provide overnight care for a 1:1 person‑centred resident at a bungalow in Mancot, North Wales. You will support a spirited gentleman with Multiple Sclerosis in living life on his terms.

Responsibilities
  • Provide sleep night support: 2 night shifts per week (Week 1: Thursday & Friday night, Week 2: Saturday & Sunday night). Working times 9 pm–10 pm for routine and 6 am–8 am for morning routine, with subsequent hours 10 pm–6 am as needed.
  • Promote independence and provide minimal‑yet‑impactful support.
  • Assist with hoisting and power chair operations as required.
  • Maintain safety and encourage confidence in the resident.
What You’ll Be Joining
  • Peaceful, two‑bedroom bungalow with home‑like atmosphere.
  • Own staff bedroom and shared kitchen and bathroom.
  • Nightly routine guided by the resident’s pace.
Who You’ll Be Supporting

Meet a quietly determined individual whose life changed after a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. He values structure, kindness, and gentle encouragement and seeks to maintain independence.

What You’ll Bring
  • Understanding that care is collaborative, not commanding.
  • Respect for autonomy and active listening.
  • Ability to offer just enough help for the resident to flourish.
  • Confidence in driving; prior care experience is a bonus.
  • Compassion and genuine desire to empower.
Benefits
  • Up to £14 per hour, dependent on NVQ qualification.
  • Fully funded training and development.
  • Consistent work with rolling rosters.
  • Accrued holiday pay and a flexible zero‑hours contract.
  • Access to the Active Learning Hub.
  • Personal Pension scheme.
  • Active Awards and £1000 Refer‑a‑Friend scheme.
  • Supportive managers and inclusive workplace; company is Disability Confident.
