Band 2 Warehouse Officer – Inverness, new Distribution Centre/warehousing facility at NHS Highland.
ResponsibilitiesProcessing incoming deliveries for onward secondary delivery within North NHS Highland. Acting as the central receipt point for all deliveries to Supply Chain/Logistics within the region and supporting all North NHS Highland customers.
Carrying out daily physical effort in moving and handling of heavy loads. Supporting warehouse operations and administrative duties within the supply chain.
QualificationsSNVQ2 in Warehousing or equivalent evidential experience.
Recent relevant experience in a distribution centre or similar logistics environment is essential. In‑house training/induction will be provided.
Good standard of education, proven literacy and numeracy skills, and competence in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
Experience with computerised stock inventory and e‑Procurement systems.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate positively and professionally.
Good level of general fitness for frequent daily physical effort, including lifting and moving heavy loads. Proficiency with pallet truck or similar handling equipment is desirable but can be trained.
