Band 2 Warehouse Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Warehouse Officer. The role is Inverness based at our new Distribution Centre/warehousing facility.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team carrying out a range of warehousing & administrative duties to support the operations within the Supply Chain Logistics Distribution Centre.

• Processing incoming deliveries for onward secondary delivery within North NHS Highland.
• Act as the central receipt point for all deliveries to Supply Chain/Logistics within North NHS Highland.
• Support supply chain operations and inventory management.

• SNVQ2 in Warehousing or equivalent evidential experience.
• Recent relevant experience in a Distribution centre environment or similar logistics field.
• Proven literacy and numeracy skills; good standard of education to standard level.
• IT literacy and ability to use Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and e‑mail.
• Experience of computerised stock inventory and e‑Procurement systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and positive professional communication.
• Good level of general fitness; regular physical effort, moving and handling of heavy loads.
• Proficiency with moving & handling equipment such as a pallet truck is desirable; in‑house training will be provided.
