Senior Hydrotest Engineer

Responsible for leading Hydrotest personnel, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards, while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and client requirements.

• Supervise, organise and co-ordinate the day-to‑day activities of the hydrotest team both at Kintore base and on client sites and assess client sites for on‑site testing
• Plan, organise and execute hydrotesting operations in accordance with project specifications and industry standards and in a timely manner
• Responsible for the control and management of stock including, gaskets, flanges, fittings and associated consumables
• Co‑ordinate the hire, mobilisation, demobilisation and calibration of testing equipment as required
• Prepare and maintain testing documentations, reports and records
• Control TMJI (Technical Mechanical Joint Integrity) certification and on‑going training
• Liaise closely with the NDT department to ensure efficient planning & execution of work scopes and all workflow demands
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with company procedures and HSE requirements
• Provide technical guidance and support to hydrotest technicians

• Proven experience in a Hydrotesting supervisory role within the Oil & Gas, Energy, Pipeline or related industries, preferably with a Subsea background
• Strong knowledge of hydrotesting procedures, equipment and safety requirements
• Demonstrable experience working to relevant industry standards including ASME B31.3, API6A and PD 8010
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
