Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy Justice Social Work Team across Central and South Aberdeenshire. This is a full time fixed term post based primarily at the Inverurie Office, however, there will be a requirement for the successful candidate to travel to other offices covered by our team such as Huntlly, Banchory, Ellon, and Stonehaven. All applicants must therefore hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
This is a Qualified Social Worker post, therefore all applicants must also hold a relevant Social Work Degree or other similar Social Work Qualification. Working hours are generally Monday to Friday within office hours, however there may be a need to be available for occasional evening or weekend work.
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of Justice Social Work covering from people's initial Court appearance, to thereafter following their journey through our service.
There will be various training and development opportunities, and you will be joining an experienced and supportive team who will continually promote new learning experiences for you.

RequirementsThis post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
