Job SummaryResponsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of Louie Oliver’s Restaurant. Ensures department service goals are achieved, embraces the company’s service culture and core values, and maintains superior guest service while maximizing profitability within a safe, secure, and clean environment. Exhibits leadership and vision to align, inspire, develop, and motivate team members.
Qualifications- Required minimum of 4 years’ related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication, team‑building, and problem‑solving skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Skill in solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists.
- Ability to understand various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Supervise the daily operation of Louie Oliver’s effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure successful operation of Louie Oliver’s as measured through guest and teammate service scores.
- Maintain highest degree of customer satisfaction for Louie Oliver’s.
- Analyze and evaluate operations to achieve cost‑effective running of the outlet.
- Conduct pre‑shift meetings, adjust schedules, and control shift staffing levels to meet budgeted labor costs; supervise employee performance (including coaching and feedback).
- Monitor and control physical and sanitary conditions of assigned areas.
- Assist in corrective action under guidance of the Food & Beverage Manager to achieve revenues, operating expenses, and GSRS rating.
- Ensure proper usage and requisitioning of operating supplies within established guidelines.
- Inspect facilities to ensure compliance with state and local health laws and internal regulations.
- Ensure legal compliance with federal, state, and gaming laws.
- Inspect and taste prepared foods to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations.
- Work closely with employees and guests to correct concerns regarding quality and services.
- Hire staff and ensure proper training, supervision, and development of subordinates.
- Conduct performance reviews, recommend wage increases and promotions, and handle employee complaints or grievances.
- Maintain daily employee attendance and work records.
- All team members follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy and participate in mandatory meetings and pre‑shift BUZZ sessions.
- Must be able to get along with co‑workers and work as a team.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Respond to visual and aural cues.
- Present a well‑groomed, professional appearance.
- Meet attendance guidelines and comply with all state, federal, and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Work a varied schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends as needed.
- Work a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations.
- Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling employee conflicts.
- Must be able to maneuver throughout the outlet.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Must use proper team lifting and carrying techniques.
- Must be able to push, pull, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, twist, and grip items when working in the outlet.
- Must have manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including PC computers, fax machine, and photocopier.
- Must be able to work in areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises, and bright lights.
