Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Correctional Facility

Job Type: Full-time

Shifts: 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week

Salary: $55/hour with the option of stipend

Experience: Minimum of 1 year

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at a Correctional Facility in Ione, CA. As an LVN, you will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to our patients and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medication and treatment as ordered by the physician
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the physician
• Assist with the implementation of patient care plans
• Provide education to patients about their health conditions and treatment options
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

Qualifications:

• Active LVN license in the state of California
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
• Current BLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to pass a background check
