Director of Adult Education

• Must be able to meet the State of Michigan continuing education requirements of the Adult Education programs
• Must have experience working with adult learners
• Positive working relationships with students, staff and the community

• Responsible for hiring program staff and overseeing the overall program including the implementation of curriculum and updated program requirements
• Conduct student registration and orientation
• Responsible for Michigan Adult Education Reporting System (MAERS)
• Collaborate with the Director of Finance for mandated state reporting (Performance Report, Application for Program, Pupil Accounting, etc.)
• Collaborate with the Director of Finance for program budgeting
• Collaborate with the Director of Finance to complete grant applications applicable to Adult Education
• Regular attendance at administrative staff meetings and Board of Education meetings as necessary
• Perform other related duties as directed by the Superintendent of Schools.

Rate
: $35.00 - $37.50 per hour based on experience and education

Terms of Employment
: 20-30 hours per week, school year
