The Department of Teaching and Learning within the College of Education at the University of Iowa is seeking supervisors for student teachers in secondary World Languages and/or the K-12 ELL Endorsement for the Spring semester 2027.
Job Responsibilities- Communicate over email with students, cooperating teachers, and program coordinator weekly.
- Communicate as needed with the Office of Student Services.
- Preplan and do observations for each student.
- Provide feedback for videotaping analysis.
- Complete student evaluation sheets for final evaluation.
Master's Degree in a language education-related field.
QualificationsSupervisor must have held a teaching license in the United States.
Required ExperienceSupervisor must have successfully completed a minimum of three years of teaching at the Elementary, Middle School, Junior High School, or High School level in the United States.
Preferred QualificationsPost-secondary teaching experience.
