In response to increasing client demand, we are excited to announce a new opportunity at Shuck-Britson's office in Iowa City, IA for a seasoned structures professional to manage and grow client relationships and projects from design through construction.

** Responsibilities*
* This role focuses on client relationships, client development, and overseeing the design and specification development of bridge structures primarily in Iowa and bordering states. Projects involve both public and private entities.

Assignments will include leading efforts in the growth of the structures practice, assisting in analysis, conceptualization, design, and construction of bridge projects. Regular interaction with clients, architects, civil engineers, and other consultants is expected.

** Qualifications*
*

• 8+ years of experience in design and construction oversight of bridge projects in the U.S.
• PE license with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, Structures emphasis;
  Master’s degree is a plus.
• Leadership and project management skills are advantageous.
• Proven success in client relationship management.
• Experience demonstrating increasing responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with diverse backgrounds.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to keep projects on scope, budget, and schedule.
