Position Summary: As a Senior Robotics Quality Engineer, you will partner with sales, service, manufacturing, and engineering teams to investigate quality issues at customer sites, coordinate containment and root cause actions, and lead the 8D and Six Sigma processes to improve reliability and customer satisfaction.

• Field quality and reliability management—oversee robot performance in the field, ensuring uptime meets expectations.
• Monitor failure trends, conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CAPA) for recurring issues.
• Track key quality metrics such as MTBF, MTTR, and defect rates to enhance system performance.
• Lead FMEA for robot components and systems.
• Warranty and claims management—handle robotic warranty policies, claims, and service contracts, and work with engineering to support rapid resolution.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting, diagnostics, and hands‑on support, training field teams and end‑users.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers for quality control, audits, and process improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement using 8D, Six Sigma, or Lean methodologies, implementing CAPA and informing product design.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 10218, ANSI/RIA R15.06, OSHA, and other safety standards.
• Maintain detailed failure reports, warranty logs, and service records; develop customer‑facing bulletins and internal improvement documentation.
• Present quality and reliability findings to leadership and coordinate cross‑functional initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field;
  Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in field quality with deep technical problem‑solving expertise.
• Experience in quality engineering supporting manufacturing systems and warranty/reliability performance tracking.
• Strong technical background across mechanical, electrical, software, and complex systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage customers and internal stakeholders.
• Independent, collaborative, and able to thrive in fast‑paced environments.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and exceeding customer expectations.
• Eligibility for U.S. export‑control authorization if required.

Location: Field‑based role; preferred location Midwest United States; travel 25‑50% of time on short notice.

Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 annually, plus performance‑based bonus.
