Role Overview: As a Physician Assistant at Sagent Behavioral Health, you will be an important part of a vibrant and dynamic outpatient mental health provider making important contributions to the mental health of our local communities. We are adding a compassionate and collaborative Psychiatric Physician Assistant to the practice.

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric diagnostic assessments, evaluate need for mediations, and prescribe as indicated
• Makes urgent assessments of persons in crisis, evaluating as appropriate
• Provide information with others involved in treatment planning
• Attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and consultations

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies
• Current active and unrestricted State of Iowa License from the board of medicine to practice as a Physician Assistant
• Knowledge of regulatory standards governing care delivery and operations
• Proficient in the use of computers; experience with Electronic Health Records is preferred
• Candidates with 1 year of experience post masters/doctorate degree are strongly preferred

Compensation:

• Salary $ - $ (actual compensation may be determined by factors such as education, experience, skillset, internal equity, schedule, or location.)
• Employees in this position are W‑2.
