Custodian I - 2nd Shift - 80% - Bed Team

The University of Iowa Health Care department of Environmental Services is seeking a Custodian to provide a safe, clean, and healthy environment for patients, guests, visitors and staff of UI Health Care. This position is scheduled to work second shift. Starting salary, $17.31/hour. • Stock supplies for cart and custodial area
• Clean and disinfect restrooms/ refill restroom supplies
• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and damp mopping hard surface floors
• Wall & ceiling washing
• Furniture moves and room setups
• Use various types of custodial equipment in performance of duties
• Other tasks and duties as assigned

This position is performed fully on campus.

We as a department are responsible for the upkeep and cleaning of over 2.8 million square feet of the hospital. The department provides support through 24/7 operations.

Schedule: 2 nd shift (2:00 pm – 10:30 pm) Wednesday - Saturday

Salary:$17.31/hour
