Position SummaryThe Department of Rehabilitation Therapies at the University of Iowa Health Care is looking for a PRN Physical Therapist to administer treatment to patients with complex physical dysfunctions, disorders and/or injuries and evaluate and interpret findings. This position will primarily be assigned to the adult inpatient acute care setting. Weekday and weekend hours are available.
Education Required- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor's degree in another field and a Physical Therapy Certificate is required
- Entry level experience in physical therapy in an inpatient acute care setting
- Excellent written and verbal meningkat communication skills
- Licensure in accordance with the Iowa Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners is required
- 1-3 years of experience in Physical Therapy
- 1-3 years of experience in providing physical therapy primarily to adults in an inpatient acute care setting
- Experience in critical care
- Ability to function as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated leadership in a work or academic setting
