Type of Position: Temporary: A staff member may serve in temporary status in a continuous appointment for no more than one year to meet an bilingual or temporary need of the University. Employees in this classification will not be eligible for University Benefits.

The Department of Rehabilitation Therapies at the University of Iowa Health Care is looking for a PRN Physical Therapist to administer treatment to patients with complex physical dysfunctions, disorders and/or injuries and evaluate and interpret findings. This position will primarily be assigned to the adult inpatient acute care setting. Weekday and weekend hours are available.

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor's degree in another field and a Physical Therapy Certificate is required
• Entry level experience in physical therapy in an inpatient acute care setting

• Excellent written and verbal meningkat communication skills

• Licensure in accordance with the Iowa Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners is required

• 1-3 years of experience in Physical Therapy
• 1-3 years of experience in providing physical therapy primarily to adults in an inpatient acute care setting
• Experience in critical care
• Ability to function as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated leadership in a work or academic setting
