Production Manager
Big Grove’s Brewing Production Manager is responsible for planning and coordinating the entire brewing process, ensuring quality, efficiency and compliance with safety standards, and meeting market standards by working closely with the executive team and Director of Brewing.

Essential FunctionsThe Production Manager will oversee all aspects of brewing, storage, and packaging, manage staff, schedules, budgets, and inventory, and drive continuous improvement of processes and quality.
Responsibilities Production Oversight- Manage and supervise brewing, cellaring, and packaging processes to produce high-quality, consistent beer.
- Act as first point of contact for production problems.
- Develop and execute daily production schedules and workflows to meet demand and deadlines.
- Maximize brewery and staff efficiency.
- Lead, train, and manage the production team, fostering a positive work environment and holding staff accountable.
- Develop training and mentorship programs to improve skills and performance.
- Maintain quality assurance and control processes for raw ingredients and finished products.
- Manage beer movement and adjust production based on issues.
- Attend daily and weekly tastings and collaborate with lab staff for chemical analysis.
- Oversee raw materials, brewing supplies, and finished beer inventory.
- Collaborate with sales and operations on budgeting.
- Maintain supplier relationships and support continuous improvement.
- Continuously enhance production processes for efficiency, cost and quality.
- Lead ERP/MRP system evaluation, adoption, and implementation.
- Plan capacity and capital projects for business growth.
- Collaborate with Director of Brewing and Head Brewers to formulate new recipes within budget and market trends.
- Ensure a safe work environment and enforce safety standards on the production line.
- Perform safety audits and manage visitor safety.
- Maintain machine maintenance and sanitation; keep the facility clean and organized.

Full-time, in‑person position. Hours may vary week to week; business open 7 days a week. Evening and weekends likely required. Expected 45–50 hours per week.

PreferredEducation and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Up to 1 year of related management experience
- 2–5 years of brewery industry experience
- Lean certification
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems

Supervisory ResponsibilityYes. Supervises the production team; works closely with the Director of Brewing and Director of Quality.
