Maintenance, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

Randstad is now actively looking for INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS to start at a well-known manufacturing facility in Iowa City, IA!

• Experienced maintenance technician in a manufacturing setting (recent years)
• Ample mechanical knowledge
• Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics, automation
• Preventive maintenance
• Diagnose technical and mechanical malfunctions or issues
• Execute repairs
• MUST HAVE high voltage knowledge and experience***
• Plastic experience a huge plus!

Compensation: $29-$36/hour to start, based on experience and client interview.

Work Schedule:

7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday during training, then move to either day or night 12-hour schedule after training and probation.

• Experienced industrial maintenance technician in a manufacturing setting
• Ample mechanical knowledge

• Working in a smoke-free environment
• Wearing steel toe shoes
• Manual lifting up to 50 lbs
• Standing for 8 hours at a time
• Up to 8 hours of overtime per week
• Working weekends

• Industrial Maintenance (3 years required)
• Electrical (3 years required)
• Hydraulics and pneumatics (2 years preferred)
• Preventive maintenance (2 years required)

• 3 years of experience
• Experience level:
  Experienced
