Certified RN Anesthetist

University of Iowa Health Care, Department of Anesthesia is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). This role practices a collaborative supervision model with a high degree of autonomy across diverse settings, including a Level 1 trauma center, ambulatory surgery center, and pediatric trauma center. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Perform clinical anesthesia services.
• Attend continuing education conferences and seminars to maintain Recertification through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
• Model and promote systems change across campus to foster professional conduct and the highest integrity, respecting all members of the University community; demonstrate a commitment to an inclusive environment where every employee feels valued and can perform at their best.
• Communicate expectations and provide support and resources aligned with the University's vision and strategic planning to foster creativity and innovation.
• Create a culture of continuous learning through strategic planning, shared governance, innovative best practices, and knowledge development.

Required Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited CRNA program.
• National certification as a CRNA by the NBCRNA.
• Current Iowa Board of Nursing RN and ARNP licenses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Contributes to a welcoming and respectful workplace environment.

Desirable Qualifications

• Prior experience in anesthesia service delivery as part of an anesthesia care team.
