The Kehl-Fie Laboratory at the University of Iowa seeks a NIH-funded Postdoctoral Research Scholar to define how bacteria resist nutrient scarcity and how hosts restrict nutrients during infection.
The successful candidate will work with Staphylococcus aureus and other pathogens to elucidate nutritional immunity, competition for essential nutrients, and host factors that impose nutrient limitation, contributing to NIH-funded projects and advancing infectious disease biology.
