QA Engineer – Required

Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience in functional and manual testing of complex enterprise applications, including requirement analysis, test strategy creation, test case design, execution, and defect management.
Ability to independently analyze business requirements and technical specifications and develop comprehensive test scenarios covering functional, integration, and regression testing.
Hands-on experience in test automation with the ability to develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites and frameworks.
Strong programming and scripting skills (Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or equivalent) to support automation and test tool development.
Good understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices.
Solid knowledge of SQL with experience in test data creation, manipulation, validation, and backend/database testing.
Good understanding of HTML, XML, JSON, and related web technologies to support UI, API, and integration testing.
Strong understanding of software application architecture, including web-based, API-driven, client-server, and distributed systems.
Hands-on experience in API testing, service validation, and end-to-end integration testing.
Ability to perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot issues across application layers, and collaborate with development teams to drive defect resolution.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure Dev Ops, or similar platforms.
Working knowledge of CI/CD processes and integrating automated tests within the software delivery pipeline.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with a strong focus on quality, continuous improvement, and timely delivery.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements and quality engineering initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with performance, security, or other non-functional testing disciplines.
Exposure to cloud-based applications, microservices architecture, and modern software development practices.
Relevant testing certifications (ISTQB or equivalent) are a plus.
