Overview
Join H&R Block as a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional. You’ll serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team and advanced tax training to help you succeed.
What you’ll do- Inspire clients to make confident, informed decisions about their lives, careers, and money by building strong client relationships that grow over time.
- Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email).
- Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
- Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
- Provide clients with IRS support.
- Support and mentor teammates.

- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; high school diploma or equivalent or higher. - Certifications:
CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification. - Experience:
5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax; experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership); experience conducting virtual tax interviews; experience with tax planning and audit support; experience completing individual returns. - Skills:
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; proficient with virtual tools (video, phone, chat); strong written and spoken communication. - Compliance:
Must complete continuing education requirements and meet IRS and applicable state requirements.
