Accountant

Keep a multi-entity, mission-driven organization's finances accurate , healthy, and running smoothly.

Life Skills Connection, Inc. is hiring an Accountant to help prepare and examine financial records across our multi-entity organization. You'll work closely with our VP of Finance, our company CPA, and our Corporate Finance Operations Manager — a genuinely collaborative finance team, not a solo back-office role.

• Prepare and examine financial statements across multiple entities for accuracy and compliance
• Perform monthly reconciliations and support month-end/year-end close
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment runs
• Support tax preparation in coordination with our company CPA
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger across all entities in Quick Books Online
• Spot opportunities to reduce costs, improve processes, and strengthen financial operations
• Support payroll processing and reconciliations alongside our HR team

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, plus 2 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in Quick Books Online and strong Excel skills
• Multi-entity or fund accounting experience a plus, not required
• Federal contract accounting or government cost accounting experience a plus, not required
• CPA, CMA, or similar certification a plus, not required
