Accounts Payable Specialist (Long-Term Contract)
West Branch, IA | Manufacturing Environment | Long-Term Contract
Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment? We are partnering with a growing manufacturing company in the West Branch area seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day invoice processing and vendor payment operations.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
- Code invoices and ensure proper approvals are obtained
- Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments
- Maintain vendor records and assist with onboarding new vendors
- Reconcile vendor statements and assist with month-end AP activities
- Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and accounting teams to ensure timely payment processing
