Receptionist / Front Desk Specialist Full-time, Monday-Friday Pay: $17-$19/hour
A premier eye care and optometry practice in the Mapleton, Iowa area is seeking a customer-focused Optometric Receptionist to join their team. Whether you have previous optical experience or a strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a willingness to learn, this role offers continuous growth and hands-on training.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome patients upon arrival and update insurance records.
- Perform insurance verification and billing procedures.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Handle incoming phone calls and patient inquiries.
- Perform daily financial balancing and administrative office support.
- Strong commitment to top-tier customer service and patient care.
- Computer literacy and comfort working with clinic software and modern medical technology.
- Highly organized, resourceful, and detail-oriented.
- Strong team player who thrives in a growing, fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in the optical industry or as an Optometric Technician is a plus.
$17 to $19/hour, depending on experience.
