We would like to hire a Regional Sales Manager for our US Branded Food service (BFS) Sales team who will work remotely from the West Region (CA, AZ, WA, CO, NV, OR). The role reports to the Vice President of Sales for Branded Food service.

- Develop and deliver customer sales and marketing plans for existing accounts, while seeking new business development opportunities.
- Provide detailed information about each customer to management including expenditures versus sales forecast, budgeted expenses, business trends and trade spend. Measure success and failures and formulate specific action plans to address problems and maximize opportunities.
- Manage regional broker, regional/local distributors and operator account networks, including training of McCormick product offerings, policies and procedures, score carding and performance reviews.
- Interact with cross‑functional teams and various management levels within McCormick and present to executive‑level audience.
- Use critical thinking in decision‑making to draw upon professional experience, market and industry knowledge, data and intuition.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales, marketing and trade spend plan for region‑level distributors.
- 6+ years of experience in Food Service and managing Food Service Brokers
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel 50%; occasional weekends necessary
- Experience in training, leading and motivating a food service broker network
- Excellent interpersonal (written and verbal) communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work across functions & cultures and interact with all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to be a dynamic self‑starter, to work independently and apply sound judgment to solve complex problems
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects at once, work under pressure, apply judgment and ask for aid in prioritizing as applicable
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to resolve issues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel
- MBA
- Experience in Sales Management with Leading Consumer Packaging Company
- Experience participating on projects, supporting key initiatives with the business
- HQ relationships with Major Broadline Food Service Distributors
