Superintendent, Construction

Overview

We’re expanding our operations and seeking a dependable Superintendent to join our Residential & Commercial Concrete Division at Absolute Group. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years experience in the concrete industry with a focus on commercial foundations. Successful candidates will have a Class A CDL and a clean driving record. A Superintendent provides hands-on work in the construction, erection, and repair of concrete foundation walls.

• Train and direct crew members
• Ensure appropriate use of equipment
• Communicate progress on the project
• Maintain the construction schedule
• Coordinate drop-off and pick-up of construction materials
• Evaluate project plans

Other duties include lifting heavy objects and being on one’s feet for long periods. The role requires leadership, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to project needs. Some projects may require in-state travel and overnight stays. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, with Saturday hours occasional based on demand.

• Minimum of two years experience in the concrete industry with a focus on commercial foundations
• Class A CDL and a clean driving record
• Ability to show up to work on time, strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and positive attitude
• Ability to lift heavy objects and remain on feet for extended periods
• Ability to think and act as a leader with strong communication skills
• In-state travel and overnight stays may be required
