Overview
Graphic Designer — Project-Based Role. This is a project-based position with an anticipated duration of 4+ months.
Location:
On-site or Remote, provided the candidate resides in one of the following markets:
Santa Fe, NM;
Denver, CO;
Las Vegas, NV;
Houston, TX;
Dallas, TX;
New York, NY; or Los Angeles, CA.
Compensation:
The base annual salary for this position starts at $60,629. Compensation may vary based on location and experience.

- Create original designs, illustrations, and visual identities for print and digital channels.
- Produce production-ready files; prepare pre-press packages and vendor handoffs.
- Ensure brand consistency; steward and evolve graphics standards and design systems.
- Support Lead Designers on larger conceptual projects from ideation through execution.
- Collaborate with exhibitions, marketing, merchandise, events, and operations teams.
- Translate briefs into clear concepts, comps, mockups, and final assets.
- Build and maintain organized asset libraries and documentation.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects; prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Present work, incorporate feedback, and iterate efficiently.
- Maintain high standards for craft, accuracy, and timeliness.
- 3+ years of professional graphic design experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Google Workspace.
- Experience with both print and digital production methods/standards.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling, typography, and grid systems.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and stay focused under pressure.
- Self-starter who proactively improves design systems and processes.
- Clear written and verbal communication; able to discuss design strengths and opportunities.
- Preferred: HTML5 banner creation (e.g., Google Web Designer); bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent; experience in attractions/entertainment/hospitality; strong presentation and organizational skills; curiosity for emerging design technologies.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and scanners. This position can also work in an indoor setting with exposure to noisy environments, dim lighting, strong visual effects including strobing lights, special effects, fog machines and small and/or enclosed spaces.
Physical demands include walking, standing, climbing stairs, and navigating elements during day and night. May require remaining in a sitting or standing position for prolonged periods, and repetitive motions of wrists, hands, and fingers. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
Work ScheduleThis is a full-time position. Typical core hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.; occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
