Receptionist, Customer Service​/HelpDesk

As the first face our clients see and the first voice they hear, you set the tone for every visit. You'll be the calm, friendly presence that puts nervous pet owners at ease and ensures every interaction — whether in person or over the phone — feels personal, professional, and caring.

Job Description:

• Warmly greet clients and their pets at check-in and check-out.
• Answer and manage a multi-line phone system with professionalism and empathy.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, handling cancellations and urgent calls with care.
• Accurately collect and update patient and client records in our practice management software.
• Process payments and explain invoices clearly and patiently.
• Communicate effectively with veterinarians and technicians to relay important client information.
• Support a smooth, efficient flow in the waiting area during busy periods.
• Help maintain a clean, welcoming front desk and lobby environment.

Who We're Looking For:

• A natural communicator who listens well and responds with empathy.
• Someone who thrives in a team environment and lifts the energy of those around them.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Prior experience in a veterinary, medical, or customer-facing reception role preferred.
• Comfort with computers and scheduling software (experience with Avimark, Cornerstone, or similar is a plus).
• A genuine love of animals.
