- Provide preventive dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis and periodontal therapy
- Educate patients about oral hygiene, prevention and overall oral health
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Evaluate and document patients’ oral health
- Communicate findings and treatment needs with the dentist
- Assist with treatment planning and coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Develop positive, long-term relationships with patients
- Help create a comfortable and welcoming experience for every patient
- Active Iowa Dental Hygienist license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent patient care skills
- Dependable and detail-oriented
- Team-focused attitude
- Passion for providing high-quality dental care
- Ability to educate and connect with patients
- New graduates and experienced hygienists are encouraged to apply
