Emergency Medicine Physician

Join a healthcare team at a community-focused facility! Mercy One Dyersville Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to fill a critical need. Located in the charming city of Dyersville, known for its historical significance and community spirit, this Critical Access Hospital offers comprehensive care with an emphasis on quality and patient-centered service.

• Provide care to patients in the Emergency Department, averaging 4 patients/day.
• Manage inpatient cases, including acute and swingbed patients.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of nursing and ancillary staff.
• Utilize the Together Care (EPIC) EMR system for patient records.
• Participate in 24-hour shifts, with in-house on-call coverage.
• Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers as needed.

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or Family/Internal Medicine with recent Emergency Medicine experience.
• Active Iowa medical license or Active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
• Clean malpractice and background history.

• Board Certification - ABEM or FP/IM with recent EM experience (REQUIRED).
• Active Iowa License or Active IMLC (REQUIRED).
• Clean Malpractice/Background History (REQUIRED).
