Position Overview- Location: Near Rock Valley, IA
- Start Date: ASAP (as soon as credentialed)
- End Date: Ongoing
- Shift Type: Varied shifts with a combination of in-house and off-site call coverage
- Schedule:
- November - November
- December - January
- One block of shifts per month (7a-7p in-house, 7p-7a off-site call)
- Practice Setting: ICU-only
- Average Number of ICU Patients Per Day: 13
- Total Number of Beds: 200
- Number of ICU Beds: 12
- Supervision Requirements: Minimal oversight required for APPs who practice independently
- EMR System: Cerner
- Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 30-45 days
- Patient Care: Focus exclusively on ICU patients, providing critical care management and interventions as needed.
- Procedure Requirements: Perform advanced pulmonary and critical care procedures as required within the ICU setting.
- Supervision: Provide minimal oversight to advanced practice providers (APPs) who are independently managing patient care.
- Call Coverage: In-house coverage during the day (7a-7p) and off-site call during the night (7p-7a).
- Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Pulmonary Critical Care.
- Licensure: Must hold an active Iowa state license (IA). Candidates without an IA license or those relying on IMLC will not be considered.
- Certification Requirements: ACLS, DEA, and CSR certifications are required.
