ADEL DESOTO MINBURN COMM SCHOOL DISTRICT (Meadow View Elementary) is seeking a highly motivated, quality applicant to work as a long‑term associate from February to mid‑spring. This progressive second, third, and fourth grade building has small class sizes and an energetic, collaborative staff.

Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:45 am–3:30 pm;
Friday 7:45 am–1:15 pm.

• Work with individual students or in small groups to help achieve skills and understanding of class material.
• Assist teachers in devising special strategies for reinforcing material or skills based on an understanding of individual students, their needs, interests, and abilities.
• Alert the regular teacher to any problem or special information regarding an individual student.
• Supervise students outside during arrival, recess, dismissal, and may provide lunchroom supervision.
• Support diverse academic, behavioral, and social needs (e.g., read to students, listen while students read, guide appropriate choices, and promote responsibility).

• Be student‑focused, team‑oriented, and have a strong desire to actively engage with students.
• Hold a humble philosophy that doing whatever it takes to help students succeed is required.
• Have effective time‑management and organizational skills.
• Enjoy working with children, collaborating with others, and making a positive difference in their lives.
• Maintain the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information regarding students expected of fully licensed teachers.

• High‑school diploma.
