Description

Fordham Law School invites applications for an adjunct instructor position to teach a Law course in a wide range of subject areas. The Law School is particularly interested in courses that combine both theory and current legal practice.

$2,000 to $15,000 per course based on credits

• Teach an engaging course at the Law School exploring legal issues within a chosen subject area, including in-depth analysis of case law, statutes, regulations, and practice‑oriented documents (contracts, pleadings, briefs, etc.).
• Develop a thirteen‑week syllabus that covers essential topics within a chosen field or domain. Foster an inclusive and collaborative learning environment conducive to critical thinking, discussion, and debate.
• Shape a set of learning objectives that students will master by the end of the course.
• Evaluate and grade student course performance in alignment with the appropriate grading curves, providing constructive feedback to foster students’ understanding of core concepts.

• Juris Doctor degree with a specialization in the proposed subject area.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
