Adjunct Construction Instructor, Shenandoah, IA – Iowa Western Community College

This position is responsible for teaching construction classes face-to-face. The instructor must evaluate and report student performance and progress in courses in accordance with college and division policies and procedures.

• Teaching classroom lecture courses
• Curriculum development/restructuring
• Assisting with student success initiatives

• 6000 hours of construction work experience OR a combination of an associate degree in construction and at least 3,000 hours of recent, relevant, tested construction experience.
• Ability to pass a background check; a valid U.S. driver's license and a good driving record.

• Employee frequently required to sit for extended periods and use hands to operate a computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment.
• Regularly required to talk and hear.
• Ability to drive company-owned or personal vehicle.
