This posting is for a hiring pool of teachers who want to work in WCSD schools. You can apply to one or more of these postings by linking your application. Health insurance premiums are paid by employees at a prorated rate for those working less than full time.
Additional InformationLimited term contracts are assignments for a limited duration. These positions are grant-funded and are contingent upon continued funding. The hiring administrator may retain the incumbent for the duration of the grant without re-advertising. At the conclusion of this position, the incumbent will be eligible to participate in the exclusive transfer process and overage process outlined in the Washoe Education Association negotiated agreement.
New employees will be fingerprinted upon hire and $58.50 will be deducted from their first paycheck to help defray the cost of fingerprinting. Fingerprint fees are subject to change. Your job offer is conditional until a report is returned from the FBI and Nevada Department of Public Safety that meets the WCSD standards for employment.
