Adjunct Drone Instructor

Description

This position is responsible for teaching drone classes face‑to‑face. Must evaluate and report student performance and progress in courses in accordance with college and division policies and procedures.

• Teaching classroom lecture courses
• Curriculum development / restructuring
• Helping in student success

• 6000 hours of drone flying work experience OR possession of an associate degree in aviation and at least 3,000 hours of recent, relevant tested drone flying experience.
• FAA Drone Pilot Part 107 Certification.
• Ability to pass a background check, have a valid U.S. driver’s license and a good driving record.

• Frequent requirement to sit for extended periods and use hands to operate a computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment.
• Regular requirement to talk and hear while performing job duties.
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
• Ability to drive a company‑owned or personal vehicle.
