Program Overview
Spring/summer position supervised by the Environmental Education Coordinator. Provide and prepare environmental education programs. Facilitate summer nature camps, public programming for youth, maintenance work, exhibit work, and newsletter preparation.
Must be willing to work some nights and weekends scheduled at the beginning of employment. Position can start as early as May 1st and end in August, with flexible start and end dates.
QualificationsPrefer working toward a two- or four-year degree with coursework in environmental education, education, interpretation, recreation, or natural resources. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must be able to handle strenuous physical activities, including river and lake paddling.
Pay$12 per hour; no benefits, no housing available.
