Job DescriptionThe English Valleys CSD located in North English, IA has an immediate opening for a special education paraprofessional at the secondary building (6-12). This will be a 1:1
The position of Special Education Associate is to help special education teachers provide for physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities in special education and/or general education settings. Assist in implementation of classroom programs, including self-help, behavior management, and instruction programs. Work under general supervision of the principal and immediate direction of a certified teacher.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Iowa Para Educator Certificate (preferred)
- -certification
- Experience working with children, preferred
- Ability to work well with children with disabilities
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work well under supervision
