Job Description Substitute Teachers- New London Community School District
New London Community School District is accepting applications for substitute teachers at Clark Elementary and New London Jr./Sr. High School.
Position SummarySubstitute teachers provide classroom instruction and supervision in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Responsibilities include following provided lesson plans, maintaining a safe and positive learning environment, and supporting students throughout the school day.
Qualifications- Must hold a valid Iowa teaching license or substitute authorization through the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners (BOEE).
- Ability to work effectively with students and staff.
- Dependable, flexible, and professional.
- On-call, as-needed positions.
- Half-day and full-day assignments available.
- Assignments may be available at either school building.
$140 per full day. ($70.00/half day)
Additional InformationSubstitute teachers must complete all required district trainings and follow district policies and procedures.
