High School Science Teacher

Sumner-Fredericksburg is looking for a collaborative and learner-centered High School Science teacher to fill an immediate opening for the  school year. The successful candidate will join an amazing STEM team to help mold and shape our students in STEM learning and thinking for their future.

Sumner-Fredericksburg is a dynamic district on the move, with plans to build a brand new STEM/CTE wing by 2028 with the successful passing of our GO bond this coming November. We also will be starting a new work-based learning focused charter school, Future Frontiers, with plans to expand across the state in the coming years.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Iowa Teaching License with preference given to those with an All Science, Biological Science, or Chemistry endorsement;
• We are willing to work with the right candidate to help them earn the endorsements needed.
