The successful candidate will support automation projects through design, programming, assembly, installation, and support at Berry Plastics Corporation. They should have a strong background in automation and hands-on mechanical experience. The role may include project management responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Building and programming new and rebuilt equipment
• Following mechanical and electrical prints
• Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment
• Ensuring adherence to company, industry, and regulatory procedures
• Participating in post-project reviews
• Maintaining safety, environmental, and health standards

Required qualifications:

• Two-year degree in automation, manufacturing, or equivalent hands-on control experience
• Experience in PLC logic, programming, and HMI development
• Knowledge of AC drives setup and communication (preferred)
• Mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to learn new technologies
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills for multitasking

• Robotics experience
• Vision systems experience
• Pneumatics experience
• Servo systems experience
