Precision Pulley & Idler, a worldwide industry leader in conveying components, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in the Humboldt, IA area. Candidates must reside in the Humboldt area or be willing to relocate.

If you have an Engineering Degree and/or 1 – 3 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, as well as a mechanical aptitude, PPI wants to hear from you! Must be able to legally work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

  Base salary ranging from $60,000 – $70,000/yr or more, depending on experience. Plus, a yearly bonus target of 15%. You can earn up to $80,500 in your first year!

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or related) or a technical degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering Technology, Applied Sciences)
• 3+ years of experience in one or more related areas: manufacturing, industrial, quality, or process engineering.
• 2+ years of experience with process development, tooling design, fixturing, and workstation layout.
• 2+ years of experience with engineering tools such as AutoCAD, Solid Works, or Draft Sight.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Design and implement tooling, fixtures, layouts, and equipment to support production.
• Lead process development, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage projects from concept through completion, including large‑scale efforts.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve issues and drive improvements.
• Provide hands‑on support on the manufacturing floor and troubleshoot production challenges.
• Document and standardize processes, work instructions, and preventive maintenance procedures.
