Slot Attendant; Part-Time

The Slot Attendant is responsible for the accurate payout of Slot jackpots and providing excellent guest service.

• Accurately paying out all slot machine jackpots and completing associated paperwork.
• Servicing minor slot machine malfunctions.
• Perform basic preventative machine maintenance.
• Verify change bank impress totals, prepare paperwork, and close and open banks.
• Learn and know slot machine code errors.
• Maintain a constant presence throughout the casino floor in order to assist guests with playing and reading slot machines.
• Complete the necessary sign-in and out sheets for radios/keys.
• Understand and follow proper procedures for radio usage.
• Attend all company-required training.
• Comply with all Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission Rules and Regulations and any other local, state, or federal guidelines.
• Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines.
• Meet company attendance requirements.
• May be required to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

• Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Must be able to communicate with managers, other employees, and customers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.

• High School Diploma or GED Certification required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to work the gaming floor.
