The Attendant – Slots is responsible for monitoring the performance of slot machines, activity, and conditions in the casino slot area, ensuring all machines are operable and identifying those needing repair.

• Observe all activity within assigned area, offering assistance and instruction on machine functions and payouts to slot players.
• Know the various types of slot machines and identify major malfunctions and correct minor malfunctions.
• Identify jackpots to be paid and complete them accurately.
• Maintain monetary and paperwork accuracy and efficiency in accordance with department/property standards.
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourage others to do the same.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission Class C license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess excellent teamwork, interpersonal, customer service, and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
