Senior Loan Officer

Overview

Do you have a proven track record of successful leadership and loan portfolio management? MBT Bank is seeking a Senior Loan Officer to manage the loan function of the bank.

A successful candidate would be goal-driven with a strong background in credit administration and business development, committed to leading by example to execute MBT Bank’s mission and core values, while supporting the bank’s growth, community presence, and strategic goals as a member of Executive Management.

• Loan Functions – Work closely with the Chief Credit Officer to develop and oversee loan objectives with quality presentation skills, lending policies, and operating procedures. Ensure that they are consistent with overall bank policies, objectives and goals.
• Business Development – Responsible for leading and driving business development strategies and execute opportunities with existing and prospective customers. Build relationships with stakeholders that support our customers and advance MBT’s presence in the marketplace through networking and participation in community activities.

Preferred Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business, finance, or related field and/or at least 10 years’ experience in lending and prior supervisory experience.
