The Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District (TMFPD) seeks an accomplished Fire Marshal to take the reins of our Fire Prevention Division. This is an executive leadership position that serves as the Architect of Community Risk Reduction and Code Integrity for our community.
This is not a field inspector role; this is the senior management classification responsible for developing the policies, managing the budget, and providing the strategic vision that ensures building compliance, mitigates risk in the Wildland Urban Interface (WUI), and protects the lives of both our citizens and our first responders. Reporting directly to the Fire Chief, you will ensure our commitment to excellence starts with prevention.
