Job Summary

Develop and deliver physical therapy programs to help clients recover and improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities. Conduct assessments, evaluations, and interventions for clients affected by injury or disease. Use appropriate tools and techniques, document findings, and develop therapeutic plans. Educate clients and their families on treatment and exercises for home. Apply age-appropriate treatments and incorporate current research into practice.

Treat individuals of all ages with various diagnoses, ensuring documentation and compliance with regulations. Follow clinical guidelines and participate in departmental activities. Collaborate with external providers and supervise assistants or students as needed. Provide ongoing education to peers and perform other duties as assigned.

Focus may include post-acute, long-term care, and home health environments based on facility needs.

Qualifications
  • Licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist.
  • Relevant education as per state licensure requirements.
  • Valid driver's license if applicable.
  • Maintain required competencies and certifications, including BLS within 60 days of employment.
