VBCH is seeking a dynamic Director of Nursing to lead our nursing teams and ensure we continue to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care in a safe and efficient environment.
Van Buren County Hospital is a community-focused healthcare facility committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our patients. We are seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to provide strategic and operational leadership across several departments, including Emergency, Medical/Surgical, Surgery, Treatment and Infusion, Respiratory, Cardiopulmonary, and Education.
The DON will collaborate closely with hospital leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care while maintaining a supportive and professional environment for staff.
Minimum Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN required
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a leadership role
- Current certifications in: CPR and Basic First Aid
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Mandatory Reporter Training for Iowa (or willingness to obtain)
